Antioch in Syria
The church in Antioch fasted, prayed, and commissioned Paul and Barnabas for the work to which the Holy Spirit had called them.

Seleucia Pieria
Being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed away to the island of Cyprus.

Salamis, Cyprus
Arriving at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the Jewish synagogues with John Mark assisting them in the ministry.

Paphos, Cyprus
Encountered Elymas the sorcerer. When Sergius Paulus the proconsul believed, astonished by the teaching of the Lord, Elymas was struck blind.

Perga in Pamphylia
Setting sail from Paphos, Paul and his company landed at Perga in Pamphylia, where John Mark left them to return to Jerusalem.

Pisidian Antioch
Paul delivered a landmark sermon in the synagogue. Many Gentiles believed, but religious leaders stirred up persecution and expelled them.

Iconium
They spoke effectively in the Jewish synagogue, leading a large number of Jews and Greeks to believe, before fleeing a plot to mistreat and stone them.

Lystra
Paul healed a man lame from birth. Later, hostile crowds stoned Paul and dragged him outside the city, leaving him for dead before he miraculously rose up.

Derbe
After preaching the gospel in Derbe and winning many disciples, they courageously turned back through Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch to strengthen believers.
